SURFERS PARADISE ALLIANCE
Surfers Paradise Alliance (SPA) is a council body that represents the interests of local traders with the aim of providing economic benefit to the Surfers Paradise precinct. SPA offers a range of marketing opportunities to all businesses within Surfers Paradise and collects research data on tourism, market demographics and locals' leisure patterns.
As well as providing statistics and market research, SPA also stage a calendar of free community events within the precinct.
Traders should contact SPA to discuss opportunities around event partnerships and on-site promotional activation. Through SPA, local businesses can also stage entertainment in Cavill Mall at any time during the year.
SPA also serves as representative for local traders to external bodies such as Gold Coast City Council and light rail operators GoldLinQ, giving voice to precinct businesses where needed.
