Surfers Paradise Alliance have partnered with Zombie Walk Australia to bring you this unique and thrilling event. The Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk is guaranteed to attract spirited individuals who for one day will become the living dead – zombies, ghouls, ghosts and more will stagger through the streets of Surfers Paradise and along the beachfront in a chilling sight.
The Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk (previously Brisbane Zombie Walk) is a ticketed event. Buy a Zombie Walker or Night Stalker ticket and you'll be supporting the Brain Foundation. This year we are aiming to raise over $20,000 to help provide funding for research into brain disorders and injuries, some of the biggest causes of death and disability in the community.

Pick up your wristbands and Fest-Evil packs (for Night Stalkers) from the Ticket box, located on the Surfers Paradise foreshore opposite Tower 34 from 26 - 28 October only. Ticket must be shown to receive wristband.
Cosplay competitions on Friday and Sunday offer a total prize pool of $4500 cash and $2645 in prizes! If you hold a Fest-Evil ticket you're automatically eligible for the Cosplay competitions but you must register on the day to enter. For more details click below.
ZOMBIE WALK ROUTE
Get an idea of the route through Surfers Paradise - the route starts at Eileen Peters Park on the beachfront and winds its way north through the precinct before turning south again along the beach back to the park.

"Prop weapons" are permitted during Fest-Evil for the Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk and Cosplay competitions, however there are rules and regulations pertaining to carrying of prop weapons.
It is an offence to operate any replica weapon in a way, which could reasonably cause fear to any person under the Queensland Criminal Code.
All participants of the Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk must wear their provided wristband and/or lanyard in order to be eligible to carry a prop weapon at this event and remain in close proximity to the agreed walking route.
